Using less hairspray, still buying too many notebooks
Ahhhh, Fall is here. Zach and I have been enjoying this cooler weather, spending more time outside and walking up to Trolley Square for dinner while appreciating the fact that we're not drenched in sweat and exhausted after a couple-block walk. Fall for us also means that with our eastern downtown location we get to hear the roar of the crowd at the U of U as the fans cheer on the Utes. I'm not ashamed to admit I'm more than a tiny bit jealous of all the students who get to be back in session.
One of my favorite childhood memories--or make that just one of my favorite memories, period--is of buying new school supplies. Pencils, pens, notebooks (oh, the notebooks!), book bags and book marks. All the exciting stuff. I also loved the thought of getting to spend 8 hours a day surrounded by my best friends. Last month I was lucky enough to attend my 10-year class reunion where I was again excited to hang out with some of my best girlfriends.
Some of my CHS friends: Marisa, Kristyn, Darci, Charity, me and Heather
A few CHS girls just after graduation: Summer 1997
Now I know what those older people meant when they said time flies.

You haven't changed a bit -- lucky girl!!!
Oh, I loved getting school supplies and organizing everything in my backpack.
Love the bangs - I think you should bring them back!
Oh Miranda! I miss your bangs, I kind of miss mine too...we might have had the same hair.
You were totally cute! What happened?
All I can say is how in the world can we possibly be almost 30!
'97 RULES!! It looks like you guys had a great time. I get a little nostalgic about this time of year. I miss the SUU days!
