Flashback Friday: Summer of '97

I could be wrong but I think this photo was taken the summer that I graduated from high school. My two best buds Erica, Jilly Bean and I were inseparable those months before I moved from Carbon County to Cedar City to go to college. One of the things that I love about this picture is that we're all wearing each others' clothes. Which we did all. the. time.

We must have had the world's largest closet, since it was necessary that we drive to the north-east part of town to Jill's house, then to the middle of town to Erica's then way out of town to my house and even farther past that to get to another friend, Chantel's (whose shirt I think I'm wearing here), just to pick up all of the items to wear each day.

Because if there's one thing Price, Utah is known for, it's a remarkable fashion sense.

Love the baggy jeans on the right. I think I had a pair of Gibauds just like them. (For the record, I never had Girbauds, my parent would never buy them for me. Thank god.)

Diania, aka "Puddin":

Girbauds were the best. You really missed out.

If there's one thing the mid 90s were known for, it was the great fashion. And NKOTB.

I have the best NKOTB posters in the world. And I have an entire big notes piano book that I used to play out of all the time. I'm like a professional. I had to wear the older sis's Girbauds. And I actually wore one of Chantel's shirts in one of my senior pictures. Since we're both R's we had our pics the same day within an hour of each other and because she's a hottie, the camera guy gave her extra pics and because I was her friend I got some too! We got extra outdoor photos, totally a perk of being the less hot friend of Chantel's.

Why do you have to hate on my blog just because Diania leaves nice notes?

Miranda, Long time no see. Do you even remember me? Jeri Tatton. I got your blog from Heather Baker. I ran into her at the gym. Crazy small world when you come from Price. It's been fun reading about you. I love this picture. This is exactly how I remember you guys! Check us out sometime. www.proulx-x-4.blogspot.com I hope you are well.
